Alf Inge Hellevik is a consultant orthopaedic spine surgeon at Ålesund Hospital in Norway. He did his PhD on systemic risk factors for osteoarthritis in the hip and knee, under the supervision of Professor Lars Nordsletten. 

He studied art before changing to medicine and also works as a medical illustrator at Hellevik Studio (www.hellevikstudio.no). His passion is making medical information understandable for researchers, clinicians, and patients. 

He has been an associate member of INTRAKS Spine since 2025.

Ingvild Østerhus from Oslo studied medicin in Martin in Slovakia, and had her inturnship at Notodden hospital, and after that she worked at the oncology dep. at Oslo University hospital, and at the Emergency ward in Oslo. Therafter as a registrar in ortopedics at Ringerike hospital and currently starting a temporary emloyment at Diakonhjemmet hospital in Oslo.
