The PELIKANTRA research group works with renal medicine, liver diseases and organ transplantation. The research is conducted both in clinical departments at the National Hospital and at the Pediatric Research Institute. We collaborate with several other research groups both within and outside Oslo University Hospital and internationally. The group conducts both clinical and laboratory research and particularly wants to bring clinically relevant issues to the laboratory. Research on patients' function after organ transplantation is a common denominator for several projects. Other areas we research are renal failure, complications after transplantation and cholestasis.
