In addition, Anne-Lise Børresen-Dale has recently been elected member of the board of the Cancer Registry of Norway.
The European Association for Cancer Research was established in 1968 and the membership now exceeds 5000.
EACR offers education and training for the young cancer researcher, and has free membership for postgraduate students.
EACR is the sister organization of the AACR (American Asssociation for Cancer Research).
