Current clinical studies:
For the moment three clinical studies are running.
1. High dose chemotherapy treated Hodgkinsdisease patients are given autologous CD34+ cells for blood cell reconstitution.
2. A similar protocol are performed for transformed low grade lymphoma patients.
3. Poor mobilizer patient are given ex vivo expanded bone marrow cells in addition to CD34+ grafts to improve the take of the graft. This is an european multicenter study.
We are now entering pre-clinical studies in mice and rats to explore the terapeutic potential of expanded mesenchymal cells in patients with irradiation caused skeleton injuries.
