Darijan Ribic

  • PhD fellow and cardiologist; MD

Darijan Ribic completed his medical education at the University of Oslo and the University of California, Irvine, earning his degree from the University of Oslo in 2008. He holds dual specializations in Internal Medicine and Cardiology.

In 2021, he commenced his PhD studies, focusing on the validation of non-invasive models for estimating left ventricular pressure in patients with significant left-sided valvular pathology. His research also investigates the accuracy of non-invasive methods for calculating myocardial work within this patient population. Additionally, he has conducted studies to validate a novel non-invasive technique for pressure-volume analysis in patients with severe aortic stenosis.
