The most common subtype of vulvodynia, provoked localized vestibulodynia (PVD), is a common but complex chronic pain condition. It primarily affects women under 30 years of age and research validating treatment options for PVD is currently lacking. The Pro-LoVe study addresses young women’s physical and mental health related to PVD, seeking to validate a multimodal physical therapy approach for PVD, and provide insights into predictors and mediators of treatment success or failure.
