Tony Håndstad has a PhD in Medical Technology (Bioinformatics and gene regulation). He is the coordinator of the diagnostic bioinformatics team at Department of Medical Genetics. Tony also manages the genomics and data sharing work package (WP3) in BigMed, and is co-lead of the Bioinformatics tool development work stream in the Nordic Alliance for Clinical Genomics.
