Burdens of respiratory infection and consumption of antibiotics in Østfold, Norway
PhD student Sara Debes,MD, is studying respiratory infections and antibiotic consumption in her project at the Østfold Hospital. The project utilises data from the Norwegian Prescription Database (Reseptregisteret), Norwegian Patient Registry, electronic hospital records and microbiological data from hospitalised patients between 2008-2017. In a substudy, the prevalence and clinical outcome of viral respiratory infections will be described.
