The next OUS - CCC seminar on Friday March 25th (13-14) will present the research center " Multimodal Approach Targeting treatment Refractory cancers usIng neXt generation technologies and trials (MATRIX)" - Centre for Clinical Treatment Research.

The seminar will take place in the Auditorium FOBY, RAD.

The center will be presented by Kjetil Taskén, Stein Kaasa, Jon Amund Kyte and center leader Åslaug Helland.

The research center " Multimodal Approach Targeting treatment Refractory cancers usIng neXt generation technologies and trials (MATRIX)" aim to enable cancer patients to live longer with a better quality of life.

The idea is to develop and establish new diagnostics, both molecular cancer diagnostics and imaging diagnostics, so that patients can be treated more precisely and with greater effect. They also aim to enhance patients involvement in treatment decisions, and the focus on patient-reported outcomes. 13 hospitals and several research groups throughout Norway will participate in the Centre.
