Synne Brune

Background: 
Synne Brune has a medical doctor degree from University of Oslo in 2013.  She has been working at the neurologic departements at Bodø hospital and Oslo University Hospital for almost three years, and also at the neurosurgical department at Oslo University Hospital for 6 months. 
 
Research Project:
Synne Brune started the project denoted «MRI changes and clinical MS phenotypes» in 2018.  The overall objective for this Ph.D project is to identify novel MRI biomarkers of MS, which in the future will guide the clinician in follow-up and treatment of newly diagnosed patients.
 
Main supervisor:  Hanne F. Harbo (Professor and consultant of neurology, Oslo University hospital). 
 
Co-supervisors:  Pål Berg Hansen (Consultant of neurology, PhD, Oslo University hospital) and Mona Beyer (Professor at the Department of neuroradiology, Oslo University hospital).
