New Department
Department of Cancer Prevention was established 1st of May 2006 at the Institute for Cancer Research, Rikshopitalet-Radiumhospitalet Medical Centre. The head of department is professor Ragnhild A. Lothe. The new department is a merge between Lothe's research group and the former Department of Environmental and Occupational Cancer (LAMYK). The new department is organised into the Molecular Cancer Genetics group (headed by Ragnhild A. Lothe), the Cell Biology group (headed by Edgar Rivedal), and Unit of Genome Biology (headed by Rolf I. Skotheim).
