Asta Juzeniene from Johan Moan's group at the Department for Radiation Biology defended her doctoral thesis entitled "Photodynamic therapy and fluorescence diagnosis based on 5-aminolevulinic acid: Roads towards optimization" on Friday January 12th 2007.
The disputation took place in "Lille fysiske auditorium", Fysikkbygningen, at the University of Oslo.
She gave her trial lectures on the subjects The history of photodynamic therapy in Norway" and "The clinical impacts of lightsources and of ALA and ALA-derivatives in PDT" on Tuesday January 11th.
