The Department of Core Facilities runs seven regional core facilities financed by the Southern-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authorities, and provides advanced core facility services to regional, national and international users. The Department aims to improve research quality through an optimal choice of technology, ultimately increasing the scientific competitiveness of researchers. The core facilities are immersed within leading research environments at the Institute for Cancer Research (ICR), where we interact with research groups to establish and develop new methods and workflows.  The Department is organised into three units; Advanced Microscopies, Flow Cytometry and Preclinical Imaging, and Genomics and Bioinformatics.
