Helse Sør has granted support to 20 projects from the Norwegian Radium Hosp. for 2006

In cooperation with the University in Oslo, Helse Sør has granted economical support to 83 research projects originating from hospitals in the region for 2006.

All in all 230 applications were evaluated. 36 per cent of these received support. Projects evaluated as "Strongly recommended" were given up to NOK 600 000 for 2006, while "Recommended" projects were given either NOK 400 000 or NOK 200 000 (unless a lesser amount was applied for). The applications were evaluated by an external committee, consisting of eight persons.
