FUGE grants to research groups at the Institute for Cancer Research

The Board of FUGE (Functional Genomics in Norway) decided in a meeting on the 8th of March 2004 to grant NOK 54.2 mill to support research projects in the fields of medicine and basal biology including bioinformatics.

On a meeting on the 3rd of May it was decided to support seven research projects. Three of the seven grants went to research groups at the Institute for Cancer Research at the Norwegian Radium Hospital.

The following researchers received support:
In addition, two projects from the Institute are among the five on the priority list. These will receive support if more money becomes available.
