Ola Myklebost is Senior Scientist and Group Leader at the Department of Tumor Biology, Institute for Cancer Research, and Professor at the Department for Molecular Biosciences at the University of Oslo. He is also Assistant Director of CAST, the Centre for research-based Innovation (SFI) on Cancer Stem Cells, and previous head of the Norwegian Genomics Consortium. Currently he is heading the Norwegian Cancer Genomics Consortium, with the aim to introduce and investigate the use of tumour genome profiles for therapeutic decisions.

Tale just completed her MSC with an A! Congratulations! She is now doing her PhD on fusion genes in osteosarcoma, a collaboration with Prof Øyvind Bruland at the Cancer Clinic, also supervised by Ola and Leonardo
Chandu is employed as a postdoc in bioinformatics on the Personalised Cancer Medicine Project, working under the supervision of Leonardo.
Iwona is a post doc employed on the Norwegian Stem Cell Centre, trying to employ iPS technology to the study of reversal of mesenchymal cancer programming in collaboration with Gareth Sullivan.
Else is employed by the CAST SFI, funded by the Research Council, and joined our group when her former group leader Edith Rian left for a new position. She is currently working at the MD Anderson Cancer Centre in Houston.
Hege just handed in her PhD thesis "Novel therapeutic strategies in sarcoma", supported by Kreftforeningen. She is othervise back in the cliniic, but will defend her PhD thesis on May 21st. The committee consists of Bertha Brodin, Ole Steen Nielsen and Eva Skovlund.
Magne studies microRNA biology in mesenchymal models and cancer. Supported by Kreftforeningen.
