In collaboration with The Norwegian PCS Research Senter we are aiming to identify epigenetic biomarkers in cholangiocarcinoma, a tumor arising from epithelial cells lining the bile ducts. By applying an array-based approach and methylation sensitive methods, we aspire to discover aberrantly hypermethylated genes suitable for early detection.
