Three candidates from the Norwegian Radium Hospital defended their doctoral theses in week 22

Between May 31th and June 3rd 2005 the following three candidates from the Norwegian Radium Hospital defended their doctoral theses:

Hamid R. Samari, from Per Seglen's group at Department of Cell biology.
On Tuesday May 31st he defended his thesis, entitled:
"Role of AMPK and other protein kinases in the regulation of hepatocellular autophagy and cytoskeletal organization"
The disputation took place in Auditorium 3 at Kristine Bonnevies hus at UiO.

Pedro Kringen, from Anne-Lise Børresen-Dale's group at the Department of genetics.
On Wednesday June 1st he defended his thesis, entitled:
"Screening for germline and somatic mutations in the ATM/BRCA1/TP53/Chk2 pathway in breast and ovarian cancer"
He defended his thesis in the auditorium at the Norwegian Radium Hospital.

Johan Bjerner, from Department of Central laboratory
He defended his thesis - entitled ”Heterophilic antibody interference in immunometric assays” - on Friday, June 3rd.
The disputation took place in the Auditorium at The Norwegian Radium Hospital.
