Dagim is using a chemical-genetic approach to identify drugs that synergize with CDK1 inhibitors to block cancer cell proliferation and survival. The ultimate goal of the project is to develop CDK inhibitor-based chemotherapy.

Vegard studies the function of Cdk1 in regulation of transcription, and is an excellent Bruce Springsteen impersonator.
