Project: Cardiomyopathy in sepsis

Aim: To characterise and quantify reduced heart function in sepsis and evaluate the effects of therapeutical measures.
Siv Hestenes is a recipient of clinical research fellowships from the Norwegian Council on Cardiovascular Diseases.
Methods: Experimental animal modell. Miniaturized epicardial sensors and echocardiography.
