There are several funding opportunities for developing new, or expanding existing, research infrastructures within Horizon 2020.
Funding is available for translatlantic workshops, travel fellowships for PhD students and Postdocs, and translatlantic educational activities. Proposals are accepted starting from 15 March, and will be evaluated on a rolling basis.

The endowment aims to support medical basic research within biochemistry, physiology, and pathology. Cancer-related projects are prioritized. Deadline: August 31st 2017.
COST Actions provide funding for European Research network activities. The coming Collection Date is 7 September 2017.
Under the UTFORSK programme, SIU and Brazilian (CAPES) issue joint calls that aim to strengthen the cooperation between higher education and research institutions in Brazil and Norway, in all academic fields. Deadline: 11 September 2017.
The Marie Curie Individual Fellowships support experienced researchers undertaking mobility between countries, optionally also to the non-academic sector. Deadline 14 September 2017.
A total of 20 MNOK for research on antimicrobial resistance. Deadline: 15 September 2017
The UTFORSK Partnership Programme supports two-year project cooperation between higher education institutions in Norway and Brazil, China, India, Japan, Russia and South Africa. Deadline: 22 September 2017.
The Kavli Trust will be awarding a total of NOK 25 M to collaborative research projects addressing selected evidence gaps in child and adolescent mental health. Pre-proposal deadline is September 27th.
JPI HDHL is working on the challenge to prevent or delay the onset of diet-related chronic diseases. This rapid action call will support community-led working groups that can push forward the field of diet-related chronic diseases. Deadline: 29 August 2017.
