The UTFORSK Partnership Programme supports two-year project cooperation between higher education institutions in Norway and Brazil, China, India, Japan, Russia and South Africa. Deadline: 22 September 2017.

FET supports projects in the early stages of research and which establish a new technological possibility. Up to 3 MEUR is available. Proposals must have a long-term vision, breakthrough scientific and technological target, novelty and high risk. They must be foundational and interdisciplinary. Deadline 27 September 2017.

The Kavli Trust will be awarding a total of NOK 25 M to collaborative research projects addressing selected evidence gaps in child and adolescent mental health. Pre-proposal deadline is September 27th.

The Michael J. Fox Foundation is now accepting applications for 2017 funding through its three core funding programs. Deadline for pre-proposals is 27 September 2017.

The Michael J. Fox Foundation calls for proposals on mithocondrial biomarkers for Parkinson's disease (PD). Project duration is 1 - 2 years and budget is up to $200 000. Deadline for pre-proposals is 27 September 2017.

The goal of this project is to develop novel approaches through the proof of concept stage for the manufacturing of artemisinin and/or its precursors as a starting material or intermediate to prepare artemisinin-based active pharmaceutical ingredients.

The Human Brain Project (HBP)is an ambitious 10-year research initiative, part of the EU flagship program. One project, with a budget of 450 000 € will be funded. Of these, 150 000 € must be in-kind. Project duration is 24 months.

The Traditional Scholars program offers Norwegian citizens with a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in any field the opportunity to do research and/or teach in the U.S. for a period of 3 to 12 months. Deadline: 1 October 2017.
